What Is Cartoon Design?
Cartoon design is the drawing of simplified, expressive characters and scenes that exaggerate real features for humor, charm or clarity. Cartoons are used for comics, animation, children’s books, badges, t-shirts, toys and brand characters. Drawn as vector art, a cartoon can be printed, animated or resized without losing quality.
- Characters drawn from your sketch or photo
- Styles from minimal to richly detailed
- Only artwork you own or have rights to use

Questions About Our Cartoons
What is cartoon design?
Cartoon design is the creation of simplified, expressive characters and scenes that exaggerate real features for humor, charm or clarity. Cartoons are drawn for comics, animation, children’s books, badges, t-shirts, toys and brand characters, and vector versions can be printed or animated at any size.
How much does cartoon design cost?
Cartoons are quoted per project. A single black-and-white character takes less time than a full-color scene with several figures. Share your sketch or idea, and we email a fixed price and delivery date before the cartoonist starts drawing anything for you.
Which cartoon styles do you offer?
We draw human cartoons, animal cartoons, abstract cartoons and emojis, manga and anime characters, chibi drawings, comics and minimalist cartoon art, in 2D or 3D styles. Send a sample image of the look you want and the cartoonist will match its feel in an original drawing.
Can you turn my photo or sketch into a cartoon?
Yes. Snapshot-to-cartoon and sketch-to-cartoon work is part of our daily routine. Send a clear photo or drawing and we create a cartoon version in color or as black-and-white line art. Please only send photos you have permission to use.
Can you draw famous cartoon characters?
No. We only work on characters and artwork that you own or have the rights to use, and we do not recreate trademarked characters. We are glad to design an original character in a similar spirit, based on the mood and style you describe.
Can I use the cartoon commercially?
Yes. After you pay for the order, full ownership of the final cartoon files can be transferred to you on request. From then on the drawing is yours to print on cards, mugs or shirts, post online, run in ads or turn into a comic strip, with no further sign-off from us.
How do I order a cartoon and pay?
Send your idea and references through the form. We review them and email an exact quote with the timeline. Payment by PayPal, Visa or Mastercard starts the drawing. Two free revisions are included, and our 100% money-back guarantee applies if the cartoon misses your brief.
