How much does watermark removal cost?
Each image is priced after review because the effort varies widely. A small date on a plain background takes little time, while a large mark across hair, fabric or a pattern takes much longer. Upload your files and we email an exact per-image quote before any payment.
Which images can you remove marks from?
Images you own or are licensed to edit. At upload you confirm that, and we may ask for proof. We don’t remove stock-agency watermarks (Shutterstock, Getty Images, iStock, Adobe Stock); if you bought a licence, please download the clean file from the agency. Copyright responsibility stays with you, the client.
Can you take a date stamp off old photos?
Yes. Printed camera dates and time codes on your own photos, including scanned prints, are one of our most common jobs. The digits are removed and the sky, sand, wall or clothing behind them is rebuilt so the corner of the picture looks untouched.
Will anyone be able to tell the image was edited?
On most images, no. Retouchers match grain, light and texture to the surrounding area and check the result at full size. Where a mark covers fine detail, such as lettering or a face, we tell you in the quote what can be rebuilt convincingly.
Can you remove a supplier’s logo from product photos?
Yes, when your reseller or distribution agreement allows you to edit the supplier’s images. Please mention the agreement with your upload. Product edges, labels and stitching near the logo are protected, and the background is rebuilt to match the rest of the shot.
