Can you convert a PDF to SVG without losing quality?
If the PDF contains real vector shapes, yes, and we keep them exactly. Many PDFs, though, hide a flattened image inside. We check for that, and where we find one, we redraw that part by hand so the whole SVG is sharp rather than partly pixelated.
Why does my SVG show the wrong font?
SVG files can reference fonts instead of containing them. If the viewing device lacks the font, it substitutes another. We convert all lettering to outlines, so the shapes are fixed and look identical everywhere. If you need editable text, say so and we supply a second, live-text version.
Is the SVG suitable for websites and cutting machines?
Yes. For the web, we keep the markup lean and set a proper viewBox so it scales responsively. For Cricut, Silhouette or laser software, we close every path and remove overlaps. Tell us the destination and we tailor the export to it.
